Erendira Ibarra

Erendira Ibarra is an actress, model and casting director who works predominantly in Latin movies and American TV industry. Born on 25th September 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico to Mexican producer Epigmenio Ibarra. Having her father in the film industry basically molded her brains in getting into the film industry at a very young age, but nonetheless she had to work hard to earn her spot. She joined CasAzul, Mexico’s most prestigious arts institute and she studied acting and drama there.

She started in the industry as a casting director when she worked on a short film in 2005 known as Acapulco Golden. A year later, she made her acting debut in Sexo, Amor Perversions. A comedy film presented in the form of 4 short films that are not interconnected with each other. She then in appeared in films like Casi Divas, Juegos Inocentes, Entre Lineas and a few more, before starring in Las Aparicio. The show which propelled Erendira’s career to new heights.

She stared in the main role of Mariana, this was a show about a strage family which consisted only of female members and where the husbands either have died or left the family. Erendira continued to star in many shows and movies after that, some of them being Double Tap, El Diez, Capadocia, Infames, Darker than Night. In 2015, she reprised the role of Mariana for the movie remake of her blockbuster show Las Aparicio. In 2018, she starred in the Netflix show Sense8.
