Samantha Ferris

Samantha Ferris is a Canadian actress who has worked in several English movies and TV series. She was born on 2nd November 1968 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Samantha is popular for her role of Nina Jarvis on The 4400 and for her supporting role as Ellen Harvelle on Supernatural. Ferris started her career as a radio announcer, and in the mid-1990s, she worked as a television reporter for the Bellingham, Washington station KVOS-TV 12 and Vancouver's BCTV, where she got her new name, Janie Ferris. After her father’s death, she decided to make acting her career and started working in it.

In 1996 Ferris got her first break in television in the series Saber Marionette J in which she gave the voice of Panther. After working in series like The Inspectors, The New Addams Family, Beggars and Choosers, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and First Wave, she got a role in the big screen in the movie Along Came a Spider and Blackwoods in 2001. She has also worked for video games like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2003, CSI: Dark Motives in 2004, and SSX on Tour in 2005. Her recent works include Salvation, Garage Sale Mystery: The Mask Murder, Eat, Drink & Be Buried: A Gourmet Detective Mystery, and Hit the Road.
