Jemma Redgrave

Jemma Rebecca Redgrave is an English actress. She was born in London, England. She is the fourth generation actress of the Redgrave family. Her grandparents were Sir Michael and Lady Rachel. She was the daughter of actor Corin Redgrave. Her mother Deirdre Hamilton-Hill was a fashion model of her times. But, they divorced when she was only nine years old. Her mother suffered from breast cancer and died in the year 1997.

Jemma was a student of London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, after which she entered the stage. Her first performance was Lady at Belfast, Northern Ireland in Windemere's Fan. In 1993, she was seen in Alexander Griboyedov's Chatsky at the Almeida Theater in London.

She also performed in plays like A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Three Sisters and The Town She then stepped into television. She was an important part of the British television industry.She is popular for her role of Eve Granger in Cold Blood. She also essayed the role of Eve Granger in Cold Blood, Dr. Eleanor Bramwell in Bramwell, Eleanor in The Buddha of Suburbia, Francesca Rochester in Judge John Deed, and Dee Stanton in Like Father, Like Son. In 2016, she will be seen as Bernie Wolfe in Holby City.
