Elena Kampouris

Elena Kampouris is an actress known for her roles in Men, Women & Children, which was released in 2014 and in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, released in 2016. In Men, Women & Children, she played the role of Allison Doss, who is a teenager with an eating disorder and in My Big Fat Greek Wedding she took on the role of Toula and Ian’s daughter, Paris Miller.

Kampouris, known for her roles in American television and movies, is the daughter of Alexander, who is a Greek and owns a wine-store and American-French Ivey, who is a fashion illustrator. According to her, no one believes when she says that she is Greek by birth as her appearance does not depict enough ‘Greek-ness’ that people think of. She was born in New York City and is currently living in New Jersey in Bridgewater Township.

For her, this role was about replicating her real life, since she is a Greek by birth and has hence witnessed Greek Weddings. This movie was a huge learning curve for Kampouris as she met the actors from the original movie, which was a sleeper hit, and interacted and bonded with them.

The film released on March 25th, 2016 to mixed reviews. She has filmed for Before I Fall in a supporting role. The film is directed by Russo Young and is scheduled to release in 2016.
