Chen Xiaoxu

Chen Xiaoxu was a Chinese actress. Chen Xiaoxu was a Buddhist name which meant Miao Zhen. She was best known for her role in television drama Dream of the Red Chamber As the character of Lin Daiyu in 1987. She was born in Liaoning. She did her graduation from Anshan Modern Drama. During that period, she met a guy and fell in love with him. The couple got married but after sometimes faced problems in their marriage and the duo broke their marriage. Later Chen met Hao Tong, who brought love back to her life. He was a student of Beijing Film Academy. He was a good looking guy and had come in contact with her because of graduation work. However the again the couple could not make up to the end and finally choose to Buddhism in the end.

She became famous with her CCTV series of Dream of the Red Chamber. The series had appeared in the year 1987. In 1988, she did a role in "Home Spring and Autumn" as Counsin Mei. The series was aired on Shanghai TV. She did not stay much in the acting field and moved to the advertising industry. She joined the Shi Bang Advertisement Co. Ltd as a General. Later she was a part of Shi Bang Culture Development Co. Ltd. In 2004, she was titled as "China's "30 outstanding women in advertising" organized by "China's Advertising Billboard". In 2007, she became a Buddhist nun and was named as Miaozhen which is a religious name. She died in 2007, due to breast cancer.
