Bijou Phillips is an American model, actress, singer, and socialite. She is known for appearing in various advertisements of Calvin Klein. Bijou was born to John Phillips and Genevieve Waite on 1 April 1980. John is a former member of a musical band, The Mamas & the Papas. While her mother is a South African actress, model, and artist. She was born in Greenwich, Connecticut. Her name was inspired by Lambert, Hendrick & Ross’s song, My Petite Bijou. Bijou is a French word for jewel. She has a brother, Tamerlane. She also has three other half-siblings, Mackenzie, Chynna, and Jeffrey. She is married to Danny Masterson.

Danny is known for That ‘70s Show. They got married on 18 October 2011 in Ireland in a private castle. They have a daughter named Fianna Francis Masterson. Bijou was suffering from a kidney condition since she was born with small kidneys. She got her kidney transplant on 7 April 2017. She started modeling when she was only thirteen. At that age, she appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue. She became one of the young models to have the honor of appearing on the cover of a magazine like Italian Vogue. Bijou started her career in films with the role of Charlie in the movie, Black, and White.

The movie was released in 1999. Robert Downey Jr. Jared Leto, Gaby Hoffman, and Elijah Wood were few of the actors with whom she worked in this movie. Later, she started dating Elijah Wood.
