Kallol Lahiri is a West Bengal, India-based Screenwriter. He is mainly self-employed and has also worked as a Creative Writer with Organizations like Star Jalsha, Jalsha Movie, Svf, Zee Bangla, and Radio Mirchi. Kallol completed his education at Calcutta University, where did got his B. A. Degree in Bengali Hons. He later went to the Jadavpur University to do his Master in Arts and Film Studies. After completing his M. A. in film studies, he got involved with Akash Bangla and Educational Media Research Center as a Programme Producer, explored different opportunities, and formed his own company in 2007. His company - Kallol Lahiri Production, undertakes projects such as Wildlife Films, Corporate Presentations, Ngo Productions, Short Fiction, Audiovisual Presentations, etc. Kallol also has a passion for photography.

Kallol started his career as a program producer in current affairs at Akash Bangla Pvt. Ltd as a Concept Writer, Production Design, Scriptwriter, Direction, etc. He also took up the position of Programme Producer at the Educational Media Research Centre (E M. R. C ST. Xavier College, Kolkata). He worked at Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies for three years, where he worked on numerous projects - Promo Content writer, Jalsha movie, September 2012 to September 2013. He worked as a Story and Scriptwriter in Aparajito, Star Jalsha, 2011-2012.
