Timir Biswas

Timir Biswas is an Indian-origin playback singer, composer, singer, and songwriter. He has worked in Bengali and Hindi cinema. On 20th November 1982, he was born in Asansol, West Bengal. He comes from a creatively inclined family. He was also a member of the orchestra Fakira. His father, Swapan Biswas, was a theatre actor and a bank employee. He completed his schooling at Subhas Pally Vidya Niketan and graduated from Raghunathpur College, Purulia. He majored in economics. Timir never received any kind of formal musical training before. People always told him that he would never be able to sing with such a voice. But, on his first day of college, when his seniors asked him to sing in front of everyone. He was scared, but luckily everyone liked his singing. And the incident gave him the confidence to continue his musical journey. He struggled a lot during his initial days.

He used to go to people with his music compositions and lyrics but wasn't getting the opportunities he wanted.
