Silajit Majumder- an Indian Bengali singer and songwriter from the city of Kolkata. He was born on the 9th of October, the year 1965, at Birbhum, Kolkata. He started his career from the year 1994.

Silajit and his wife, Ilina has a beautiful son named Dhee. Apart from being a singer and a songwriter, Silajit has also contributed to the field of acting.
