Kohinoor Akhter, well known by her stage name Shuchanda, is a director and actress from Bangladesh. On September 19, 1947, in Satkhira District, East Bengal, Dominion of Pakistan, Shuchanda was born. She began acting in movies in the middle of the 1960s and appeared in roughly 100. Shuchanda made his directorial debut with the movie Bidesh Jatra in 1998. Hajar Bachhar Shorey (2005), Tin Konya (1985), and Pyasa are among Suchanda's best-known works (1969).
