Saleh Sobhan Auneem is a director, producer, and editor from Bangladesh. He was a data analyst earlier when he left the corporate world to pursue his passion of filmmaking. He grew up in Iran till he turned 6 yrs and then he returned to Dhaka. He has completed his higher studies from Goethe Institute, Alliance Francaise de Dhaka. He is an IBA graduate but who was destined to be a filmmaker. His wife’s name is Tasnova Farheem and they have a child. He is known all around as a film buff. He started out as an assistant director and in 2013 he co-founded a film called Noir playing the roles of a director, producer, editor and a colorist.
He created a series of short films called Projonmo Talkies Projonmo Talkies is a bengali television series pr >> Read More... taking his first steps into the narrative film hemisphere from where he worked in many projects for platforms like Netflix, Hoichoi, Chorki and Iflix. He was an editor in projects like Taqdeer, Unoloukik, Jaago Bahey, Shaaticup, Kaiser, Karagar, Cafe Desire and Guti. He also worked as a producer of Taqdeer, Unoloukik, Jaago Bahey and Karagar. He directed the short film called Juthi and Lights, Camera and Objection which was featured in the anthology series Jaago Bahey and which got the National Award in the ‘Best Drama Series’ category at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. When not at work, Auneem dedicates half of his time to his family and the other half to watching movies. He says he needs to watch anything daily.
