Projonmo Talkies is a bengali television series premiered on channel Zee Bangla. The television show aims to give a voice to the youth of Bangladesh by bringing out everyday stories of ordinary people or characters. The first episode named ‘Eki Pothe,’ revolves around the story of a man who had left his country during the partition that took place in 1947. Now that he has returned to his own country, he seeks his childhood home and eventually gets some closure. His emotional attachment to his nation and nostalgia are the main themes of the episode.

The secondary episode features the life of a man going on a terrorist mission. The episode deals with the inner battles in his head, which is confused as to which step to take, is it moral to do these things? One of the interesting episodes is one where a community takes a step to raise voice against an individual who is spreading havoc in their locality. The most beautiful episode of the show is 'Maa.’ The episode deals with the emotional story of a mother on a quest to find her son. A mother’s love has no boundaries, no limitations. It is simply pure, and un relentlessly loving. The short film in this episode beautifully captures the theme of motherhood and the beautiful bond between a mother and a son. Another story features the story of a village, their religious beliefs, and the negative effects of social media.
