Sampurna Lahiri is an Indian actress and television artist of Bengali origin. ‘Accident’, a 2012 Telugu film is Sampurna’s movie debut followed by ‘Paanch Adhyay’. Her breakthrough came with ‘Goray Gondogol’ directed by Aniket Chattopadhaya, in which Lahiri plays an outgoing, next-door-girl in the lead. It was through Tare Ami Chokhe Dekhini that the producer of the movie, Kaustav Roy had considered Sampurna for the role. The director, Aniket Chattopadhaya had proved quite the mentor for the budding artist as she herself reveals.
