Srijon Bardhan is a talented director, musician, and writer from the Bengali film industry. He was born on 13 August 1989. His father is Mr. Pradip Kumar Bardhan, and his mother is Mrs. Debasri Bardhan. He spent some of his childhood in Sitarampur, a small town near Asansol-Dhanbad. Due to his interest in music and movies, he trained in Rabindra Sangeet, Indian Classical Music, and Folk music. He has also learned acting, theatre, and drama from the Children's Little Theatre (Aban Mahal), Kolkata.
He was also keen to learn photography, video editing, and sound mixing, which he used to do with the old Kodak Kroma 35 camera gifted by his parents. Later, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Future Institute of Engineering and Management. He has also learned Western music from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and the London College of Music. His love for music and films has turned his career towards filmmaking. He has directed two short films which were appreciated internationally. In 2016, he directed the movie Postmaster.
