, born on September 8, 1953. He is an Indian director and a music director, mainly working for the Bengali film industry. He was born in Kolkata and studied at South Point School and then from Patha Bhavan, Kolkata. Only at the age of 24, he started his journey as an assistant director on the sets of his father. He made his first directorial debut, Phatik Chand, in 1983, which received International Children’s Film Festival in Vancouver. Not only a director, but Sandip was also a noted photographer. He is best known for directing the Feluda series. His recent work was Professor Shonku o El Dorado.
