Sameer Ahmed is a Bangladeshi Director. He runs and owns a production house named Gao Production. He is also known as the former director of the Jolchhobi Movie Factory. Moreover, Sameer worked as a Freelancer Director for BBC Media Action for one year during the year 2011. Sameer persuaded a degree in Business Administration at Virginia Tech and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Film Editing major from the Film and Television Institute of India. Furthermore, he has completed his primary and secondary education at Choueifat. Sameer has worked as a director as well as an editor throughout his career.
In the movie Guerrilla, which hit the theatres in the year 2011, he worked as an editor for this project. Moreover, he has worked as an editor for movies such as Unknown Love, released in the year 2015, and also Ghasphul: The Flower of Grass, which hit the theatres in the year 2015. Currently, Sameer is working on Bou Diaries. Some of his notable projects are, In Too Deep, Puppet, The Cage, 2 Mad Men, Contract, Tale of an Ecliptic Time, Kalbela, Meghmallar Manusher Bagan, and many more.
