Fakhruddin Islam Manik (born 5 February 1959) is a Bangladeshi film director and writer. He is known for his contributions to the world of cinema as a screenwriter and director of many successful films throughout his career.  Manik's directorial credits include "Phool Nebo Na Asru Nebo" (2000), "Lal Doriya" (2002), "Dui Bodhu Ek Swami" (2003), "Shopner Bashor" (2003), "Koti Swami" (2003), "Shopner Bashor" (2003),"Koti Takar Kabin" (2006), "Bidrohi Salauddin" (2006), "Chachchu" (2006), "Dadima" (2006), "Biyer Lagna" (2008), "Mayer Hate Behester Chabi" (2009) and "Amar Bhai Amar Bon" (2010 ).Â
As a writer, Manik contributed to the scripts of Phool Nebo Na Asru Nebo (2000), Lal Doriya (2002), Dui Bodhu Ek Swami (2003) and Koti Takar Kabin (2006).
