Srijato Banerjee is an Indian child actor who has acted in Bengali cinema. He rose to popularity with his performance in Parambhrata Chattopadhyay’s film Sonar Pahar (2018). In the movie, he plays a seven-year-old boy named Bitlu who strikes up a friendship with Upama Mukherjee, played by veteran actress Tanuja. West Bengal Film Journalists’ Association nominated Srijato for the best promising actor award for his performance as Bitlu in 2019.

Fellow actors and the director, Prambhrata Chattopadhyay, lauded him as a star in the making.
