Sourav Mukhopadhyay is a renowned Bengali Author who has written stories, novels and books for children and adults. He is famous for his novel Prothom Prabaho, a book based on Mahabharat Adi Parba. Sourav Mukhopadhyay was born in 1973 and spent his childhood in Howrah district, where he resides with his whole family. He completed his school in 1991 at Makardaha Bamasundari institution and then received a degree in English from Narasinha Dutt College in 1994. He began his career with a government job and worked as an English teacher in high secondary school.
Sourav Mukhopadhyay wrote three stories in 2003, later published in 2004 in three leading magazines. He has written various short stories, articles, and novels and was widely accepted by magazines and publishers. In 2005, he participated in a writing competition for writing comic stories, where he won second prize. By 2009, at least 20 of his short stories were published. Many of his books, novels, and reports are available on Amazon.
