Zahidul Haque Apu

Zahidul Haque Apu is a multi-talented individual from Bangladesh who has made a name for himself as an actor, writer, cartoonist, and radio personality. He is popularly known as ‘RJ Apu.’ Apu attended ‘Government Laboratory High School,’ Dhaka, and developed a passion for playing the guitar during his school days. He sharpened his skills for four years and started playing in bands. In 1997, he eventually formed his band ‘Triloy’ and even performed in a rock music show called ‘Rocklink.’

After completing his graduation in Commerce from ‘New Model College’ he became interested in graphic designing. He joined ‘Ogilvy and Mather’ in 2014, where he served as the head of the Creative group. Drawing had always been a childhood hobby for Apu, and he often shared his sketches of cartoon characters on social media platforms. Encouraged by the positive feedback he received, he decided to pursue this passion, and launched an art series ‘Tintin in Bangladesh,’ featuring the beloved comic character ‘Tintin,’ traveling to places.
He also worked as the Head of Programs at ‘Radio Dhol,’ where he was responsible to develop ideas and strategies for programs and shows. Apu is a Co-founder at the ‘Marvel- Be You’ and also is working as the Lead of Content- ‘Chorki.’ Additionally, Apu serves as a senior producer at ‘Transmission Entertainment.’ He is best known for his work in the TV serial ‘Mukim Bothers,’ directed by Ashtaque Nipun.
