ShamimZaman is a Bangladeshi actor, music artist, story writer, drama director and TV drama producer. He was born in Manikganj District, Bangladesh, on January 19, 1983. His birth name was Saifuzzaman. He completed his higher secondary education from Manikhanj College, and graduated from Jagannath University. He got married in 2017. He began his acting in "AranyakNatydal" theater organisation, wherein he had enrolled himself as a member. He owns a production company called 'Sharat Telefilm' which has produced dramas including 'GaruChor,' 'Harkipte,' 'PatraMithali,' 'Ustadji,' 'Shilbari,' 'GariberBandhu,' 'Shayabaaz,' 'ValbasarKagu,' 'Kata Dilyam To,' 'Alta Sundari,' 'Jamaimela,' 'Asha Talkies,' 'EkdaBaghereGhalayeHaarFutilo', and 'Dui TakkarBahaduri.'
He has directed many telefilms and television series like Tension Master, FaishaGese, Jhulanto Babura, and Meko Malaysia. He has also acted in various notable dramas like Dayaganj, Service Holder, and College Student. He was also a part of films like 'Adhiyar,' 'Bangla Mae DamalBoy' , and 'Chhana O Muktijudda.' His debut song album was titled 'ParanBandhure.' He has produced another song album 'EktaChiti.' He has also sung opening songs for two plays,'JamaiMela' and 'Social Network.' He is currently the director of the drama serial 'GolokDhada.'
