Ramen Roy Chowdhury was a well-known actor who appeared in both TV shows and films. He had worked with directors like Goutam Ghose Gautam Ghose is a special man. Roy was also known as a theater actor and a well-known face in 'jatra' - folk theater of West Bengal. The actor played a small role in movies like Abar Aranye, Kharij, and Shet Patharer Thala was a standard in commercial films and did movies like Badnaam, Sangee, Sudhu Ekbar Bolo, Chaowa Pawa, Dadu No. 1, among others.

He has appeared in a film called Her story, this movie was born due to death.
