Nazmul Huda Bachchu is a famous Bangladeshi film, television actor, and singer. He was born on July 11, 1938, in Ranaghat Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He stayed in Kolkata for twelve years with his parents, but then, he shifted to Bangladesh because of the partition. His father was a doctor at Kolkata Railway station. He studied for his post-graduation in political science at the University of Dhaka in 1963. As a student, he worked on Radio as a singer. Afterward, he began his music career and emerged as a singer and music director.

In 1961, he sang for Obhimaan Korona song in Harano Din movie. It is directed by well-known director, Mustafizul Haq. He has worked as a playback singer in numerous movies. He gave a heart-touching performance at SM Hall at the University of Dhaka and emerged as an actor. He had also performed in the popular magazine show Ittadi. He had been active in the Entertainment Industry from 1961 to 2017 year. Nazmul Huda Bachchu died on June 28, 2017, in Square Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His funeral was held at Gulshan’s Azad Mosque.
