Dipankar Dey is an Indian movie actor who has appeared in many films, and his work is highly commendable and loved by the Indian audience. He was born on July 5, 1994 in a Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He mostly works in the Bengali film industry. He never restricts to a single character and always do a role of every nature, be it a Hero, villain or a supporting actor. He has worked in many art shows and other commercial films. He has received appreciation for his work and the hard work he puts in. From the year 1971, he had many movies and served different characters that are to remember in the industry. His first involvement in the film was in 1971, in the movie “Seemabaddha”, where he played a role of Ganashatru.

His character received an excellent response from the critics during that time. He then appeared in “Hemlock Society” (2012), which was a Bengali dark comedy directed by Srijit Mukherji.

The name of the movie was taken from a society that is situated in the Santa Monica, USA.
