Madan Mitra is a Bengali actor and politician born on 3rd December 1954. Madan Mitra began his professional career with the Indian National Congress party. He was given many positions while being with the Indian National Congress, including the Indian Youth Congress, the party's youth wing. In 1988, he joined hands with the All India Trinamool Congress party. He had his debut with his first movie called Oh! Lovely. The movie has been made in Bengali. He first joined politics and became the president of the students' union of Ashutosh College in 1973. He is a married man and has been married to Mrs. Archana Mitra. The two have given birth to two sons, Swarup Mitra (who is a businessman) and Subhorup Mitra (who is a politician).
