Arijit Sengupta

Arijit Sengupta is an Indian designer, actor, and singer, born and raised in Kolkata and now lives in Belur, Bangalore, and has done many projects in the Bangla language. He has worked in many Ad commercials, Tv-Shows, and as a composer in many Bengali movies. Arijit has an immense passion for singing and has a youtube channel dedicated to song covers. He has covered many Bengali and Hindi songs such as – Gopono Kathati Robe Na Gopone, Ab Mujhe Raat din, Tum Se Hi, Hridoye Mondrilo, Kuch naa Kaho, Mor Beena Othe Kon Shuray, and many more.

He has worked on many projects for over a decade and even more. Arijit worked as a singer on the Bengali Version title song of - Sex Chat with Pappu and Papa, performed by Reema Nathaniel and Arijit Sengupta in 2016.

Sona Bondhure – a Bengali song by Arijit Sengupta and Arpit Basu got released in 2021.

Arijit Sengupta was a writer in the 2016 movie Mouchuki Forest Bungalow. The movie got directed by Animesh Banerjee and starred Sovonjit Ghosh, Animesh Banerjee, and Arijit Sengupta. Mochizuki Forest Bungalow is a Bengali horror movie. It is the first Bengali horror-found footage film. The story was an edited version of recovered footage from the handy cam of three friends who experienced paranormal activities in their four days in an unknown forest.

A Bengali horror Film - Dawnmare, directed and written by Animesh Banerjee, Arijit worked on this project as a composer. The cast of the movie was Animesh Banerjee and Karatoa Ganguly.

The Curse of Bloody Mary is another short horror Bengali movie written and directed by Ripunjoy Sarkar. It starred – Animesh Banerjee, Ankita Banerjee (voice) as the moon, and Shayeree De Sarkar and Arijit Sengupta as the composer.

Arijit has also worked as a composer in The Curse of Bloody Mary (2020) and Dawnmare (2018), as a producer in Dawnmare (2018) and Mouchuki Forest Bungalow (2016). as an actor in Mouchuki Forest Bungalow (2016), as a writer in the Mouchuki Forest Bungalow (2016). He also worked in the sound department in The Curse of Bloody Mary (Short) (Sound) (2020).
