Arjunan Nandakumar was born on 8 August 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.The actor stands at 5 feet 4 inches. The actor has made a significant contribution to the Indian Tamil and Malayalam film industry.

Arjunan is active as an actor from 2012 onwards. He debuted in the industry in a Tamil film 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi', a comedy love story in 2012. He played the role of Siva, who was in love with Parvathi, which was played by Amala Paul. For this movie, he received a favourable response for his work and was applauded by many newspapers and magazines.

The actor’s second movie was a Telugu film 'Jabardasth' in the year 2013. This movie was again a romantic comedy. Later this year, he was also the part of 'Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer' in which he was just a supporting actor. In spite of his small role in the film, he was praised by many critics. This movie is one of the top hits of the Tami film cinema. His other films were mostly for the directors like Ravi K. Chandran, Anand Shankar, and Balaji Mohan.

In 2014, he did a Tamil action-thriller film, 'Yaan'. In this movie, he played the role of Shiva. He has been a part of twelve Tamil, two Telugu and, two Malayali productions as a supporting actor, for which his contribution was much appreciated.

As far as his upcoming movies are concerned, Arjunan is working on 'Idhu Namma Aalu', a Tamil romantic movie. 'Pandiraj' directed this movie. And it has 'Nayantara' and 'Silambarasan' in the lead. He is also a part of the another project called 'Nambiar'. This is a science-fiction movie directed by 'Ganeshaa'. The actor is also working on the movie 'Aakko', an upcoming musical comedy by the famous music director Anirudh Ravichander. In this flick, he is playing the role of a youngster who is very enthusiastic about life.
