Natarajan Subramaniam is a cinematographer turned actor of the Kollywood. At the beginning, of his career, he even worked as a marriage photographer and a videographer. Natarajan decided to quit his school at the age of 18 and neither did he go to college.

He wanted to pursue his interest in photography. It took a long period for him to make a break in the film industry, but he worked as an assistant cinematographer under Vijayalakshmi. Anyways, he decided to stick with documentaries before doing any bigger projects.

He started to receive the acknowledgment after he made the music video of Euphoria’s first album. Simultaneously he was working in some Tamil projects like “Youth” (2002- Romantic Comedy).

After all the success as a cinematographer in Bollywood, Natarajan tried his luck as an actor in low-budget Tamil films. He initially appeared in “Naalai” (2006) and “Chakkara Viyugam” (2008). However, both of the films did not create any impact on the box office but his part as an actor was well acclaimed. Later he did “Milaga” and “Muthukku Muthaaga” which were again not effective. And t hen, he did a film called “Sathuranga Vettai” produced by Manobala and directed by Vinoth. The film became a success at the box office. He played the role of “Gandhi Babu”, and his body and eye language was commendable.
