Raj Kalesh

Raj Kalesh was an anchor in a cookery show that was telecast on television. He forayed into acting after he gained popularity in anchoring the show.  He rose to fame when he started hosting cookery show in TV. Hosting has given him more recognition. He became a household name in Kerala with the cookery-cum-travelogue show that had a run of five years in Amrita TV.  He also hosted another cookery show Food Path in Asianet TV that highlighted cuisines of the world. The anchor then tried his luck as a magician. Raj Kalesh was also a participant in a Sony TV show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’.  Later on, he went to do some more shows and hosting a TV show gave him much love and admiration from world audiences too. Currently, he is busy with a TV show ‘Ugram Ujwalam’ on Mazhavil Manorama. Recently, he was bitten by acting love too.

After this film, it is said that the acting bug had bitten him, and he appeared in a small role in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha which was directed by Radhakrishnan Menon. Raj Kalesh is also a trained magician and was offered to perform a magic show on TV. Before entering in Mollywood, he proved himself as a successful TV anchor. He did small roles in movies but since he is a household name in Kerala for anchoring Food shows, the young generation of M-town is also inspired by him. So his fans will now witness his full acting prowess in upcoming film ‘Lord Livingstone 7000’. The actor also has authored a book 'Ruchivattam' where he selected 25 favorite combo meals that he discovered while traveling as an anchor for his popular show on food.Acting in movies was never his priority, but it happened by chance and luck.
