Kannada Tv Show Zee Kutumba Awards 2020

ZEE Kutumba Awards is a prestigious award show on ZEE Kannada. The show is in Kannada. The show was divided into five parts; the nomination party, prelude, the red carpet, the curtain raiser and the main award distribution ceremony. The theme of the red carpet was carnival. The event was broadcast on various days in parts. Its first episode was released on 31 October 2020. The subsequent part was released on 1st November 2020 at 7 PM. It is organised every year to felicitate and honour the artists, technicians, and other people who worked throughout the year to make the serials on ZEEKannada a considerable success. It is organised to acknowledge their hard work and dedication towards the channel. There were awards in many categories to honour the Kannada Television industry’s talent and the viewer's appreciation. A total of 44 categories were present in the award ceremony. Many people were nominated for the same award, and a winner was chosen through the voting by the audience in the six popular categories. The categories included Best Jodi, Best Serial, Popular Jodi, Popular actor in male category, Popular actor in female category, Best Editor, Best Cinematographer, Best Screenplay writer, Best Director, Popular reality show, Popular Presenter, Popular Contestant, and many more. The votes were taken through SMS and App-based voting. Rasikara Express also gathered votes by covering the whole State. This Express followed the government guidelines of Covid safety. This time, the theme of the event was a bit different. It was organised to appreciate the corona warriors of the country.

The awards were presented to the sanitation workers, doctors, nurses, Paramedical staff and Police officers. Because of the work and dedication of these people, India was able to fight a Pandemic. They kept their lives at risk to save the lives of many others. The ceremony was organised at the Nandi Links grounds, Banglore. The protocol for the Covid-19 safety was strictly followed in the event. 60 Sanitizer stands and three sanitizer tunnels were installed at the whole venue. The dubbed version of the show, Mahanayaka Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, recently gained popularity in Karnataka. This show was appreciated in this award show. The actors and makers of the show thanked the Kannada community for loving their show in another language. The dubbing artists were also called upon for appreciation and praise.

The Rocking star Yash launched a song that was dedicated to this show. Sushma was the host of this event. Her personality and charm added sparkle to the event. This was the 6th edition of the series.
