Hot Seat is a Kannada reality game show where Kannadigas can play the game from the comfort of their homes. Saral Jeevan Channel launched this show on 8th October 2020, at prime time 8:30 pm, so that everyone can watch it. The host of the show asks questions and the audience can send their answers via text message or play the game in the app within a certain amount of time.
The questions are based on general knowledge and awareness and familiarize the audience with exciting facts about Indian history and legacy. The USP of the show is that in this game show, everybody wins. Participation is via Hotseat App or message. Scores are added, and the participant who gives more right answers had more probability of getting the larger amount. Starting from 2000 INR prize money goes up to lakhs. Season 1 of Hot Seat ran for three months daily.
