The series has a unique storyline. It revolves around a lady auto driver, Thamizh, fondly called by the passengers as Auto Rani. She drives an auto to earn a livelihood for her family. She lives with her elder sister and mother. After her father passed away, she started driving to earn money. Because driving an auto is a man’s work, she has to face challenges daily.

She takes pride in her profession. She loves and prioritizes her family. Her motto in life is to uplift her family from poverty. She is willing to do anything for her family except hampering her relationships. She is selfless and righteous. Her life is full of challenges but, she is street-smart and tackles all the problems smartly. A family of a wealthy businessman is looking for a bride for their successor, Santhosh. Santhosh’s mother wants Santhosh to marry a woman whose horoscope matches with him. She finally finds that Thamizh’s horoscope matches perfectly. However, Thamizh’s sister likes Santhosh and wants to marry him. But the truth is revealed before they get married. Thamizh and Santhosh are married off. But, this married life comes with many challenges as many members of Santhosh’s family do not like her. They conspire against her, and Thamizh has to overcome the obstacles to live a happy life.
