. The Telugu serial is the official remake of the Bengali serial, Krishnakoli, which premiered in Zee Bangla. K Raghavendra Rao produced the series. Aishwarya H and Dileep R Shetty play the lead roles in the series. The show premiered in Kannada in 2021. It is telecasted on Zee Kannada every Monday to Friday at 7 pm and is also available online on the Zee5 platform. Krishna Sundari follows the life of Shyama, a dark-skinned girl. Shyama is a proficient singer, but she faces discrimination for her dark skin. She gets married to an affluent man of values, Akhil. The story follows the tribulations Shyama faces and overcomes with the support of her husband to emerge as an independent and successful singer.
