This serial depicts the adventurous journey of Shruti (Rupsa Chatterjee) and Alap (Vikram Chatterjee). So, the overall series starts with the journey of young college students and musicians Alap Mitra and Shruti Misra from Kolkata to the fictitious village Anandagarh. Shruti’s family resides there. Her maternal grandfather is a classical singer. He got Tansen’s Tanpura from King. Alap wanted to learn music from her mother. She is also a classical singer. However, the mystery and history of Tanpura intrigues him more, and they start a treasure hunt with the help of clues given to them. 

The series and the quest continued in Rudraveena ka Abhishaap Season 1, showcasing a tale of two legendary schools of Indian classical music, Rudrapur and Anandagarh. However, both have a common dark past capable of changing many lives forever. In this installment, Rudrabhairav asks Naad (Saurav Das) to go to Anandagarh to look for the thing that can cure the ancient curse of Rudrabina from his community. He reaches there with his malicious intentions on the day of engagement between Shruti and Alap. Hence, Alap and Shruti journey to Rudrapur to crack the mystery of this ancient curse.

In Season 2, the mystery continues when Alap and Shruti encounter a series of gruesome murders and mysterious dark pasts when they search for Raga Sanjivani. The new revelations had driven Naad to become more vicious by the day. So, how Shruti and Alap save Anandagarh and their loved ones by solving this mystery is shown in the remaining episodes of this intriguing series.
