Babloo, a middle-class man, resides with his wife Janki, and their college-attending son Bhuvan. After facing multiple strokes of bad luck, Babloo miraculously wins the lottery but soon after gets into an accident that causes him to lose his memory. Bhuvan and his friends start investigating the accident and find out a shopkeeper was paid to withhold information about what happened. A detective hints that the perpetrator is nearby, prompting Bhuvan and his friends to chase after and unmask the culprit, who turns out to be Bhuvan's uncle Titu.
In a flashback, it's revealed that Titu had accidentally hit Babloo with his car at the accident scene. Titu's sister blamed him and kicked him out angrily. Meanwhile, greedy neighbors treated Babloo like a VIP hoping to profit from his lottery win. Later, Titu explains to Bhuvan it was just an unfortunate accident. Bhuvan's friend discovers CCTV footage proving Babloo's enemy Hola caused the accident out of jealousy about the lottery. Titu, Bhuvan, and his friends take revenge by attacking Hola and forcing him to confess on video. They show the video to Janki as proof, exonerating Titu. However, Bhuvan overhears Babloo talking to another woman, realizing his father had faked memory loss all along after the accident.
