Amit Kulkarni

Amit Kulkarni is a video editor based in the Indian web series industry. He was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is widely known for some brilliant web series presented on OTT platforms such as the latest release Dhindhora on YouTube, Chutzpah released on Sonyliv, Panchayat released on Amazon Prime Video, Hostel Daze again released on Amazon Prime Video, Tripling S2 released on TVF play, Gullak released on TVF play, Bachelors released on TVF play and Inmates released on Zee. Amit Kulkarni graduated from Savitribai Phule University, Pune in Political Science in 2015. Later he took up distance education in Multimedia and Animation, Film making, video editing and motion graphics from Sikkim Manipal University.

He has gathered several accolades for his featured works. To mention some of them, he won Best Film Audience and Jury at Smart Cut Film Festival in Aug 2014. He again won Best Web Series (Bronze) for TVF Bachelors at Talent Track Awards. Moreover, he bagged Best Web series of 2017 for TVF Bachelors at News18 Reel Awards. Tracing his career timeline, he has been in the video editing industry since 2013. Apart from professional projects, he has even worked as a freelancer for several short movies and other gigs. Donning a strong work profile, Kulkarni has lent his skills not just in web series but also in music videos, commercials and sketches. He has collaborated with several brands such as Netflix, TVF play, Maddock Films, Amazon Prime Video, Sony liv, Applause, Zee music, Turtle media, Girliyapa and many more.

Some of his past works include short films such as Mukta that won the Best Film Award at "Smart Cut Film Festival" 2014 in Pune. Intoxication was another film where Kulkarni worked as an editor and script-writer for India Film Project 2014. Hubby Dumb, Gone, Nest, Bhet, Footflicks After the movie, Its my life are several other projects where he showcased his skills. Besides his celebrated work in video editing on numerous projects across various platforms, Amit Kulkarni is fond of photography. As a brilliant and talented video editor, the audience would love to see more of his projects on the screen.
