Khwaish story revolved around a girl Afreen who belongs to a Muslim girl who is settled in Dubai. Afreen has a many dreams about her husband, she wants that her husband would be handsome and wealthy who carries her and treat like a princess, her dreams come true when she marries with Kabir but her ill fate was with her, Kabir dies in an accident and she was forced to marry with Kabir’s brother Azaan as she was accepting a child and everyone in the family was worried about her future. Azaan does not want to marry as well but agrees to the shake of the family. After marrying Azaan and Afreen live separately, but after some time they fall in love and start living like a husband and wife, but the twist comes in a story when they see Kabir in a town and this creates a total mess in the story.
Khwahis was broadcast in India and Pakistan both countries, but the show was not hit like other serials of Ekta Kapoor.
