Usha Khanna is an Indian music director of Hindi Cinema. She is famous for songs like “Shayad Meri Shaadi Ka Khayal Aaya Hai”, “Zindagi Pyaar Ka Geet Hai”, “Chodo Kal Ki Baatein” and “Aap To Aise Na The”. Her television career debuted in 1988, when she played Uttara, wife of Abhimanyu in the serial Mahabharath, of Doordarshan. In 1994, she was seen as a snake queen in Chandrakanta serial. But her most memorable performance is that of Rani Lakshmi Bai in Jhansi ki Rani which aired on television during 1990. In 2000, she married Ajay Sharma, who was the son of film and music director Ravishankar. After her husband's death, her sister-in-law accused her of harassment and claimed ownership to the bungalow in which she lived. This was followed by a court case and brought controversies in her life.

Kalpana Iyer won the coveted Miss India title before venturing into Bollywood. She is reputed for her vampire roles during the 80s and 90s. She had worked in several films, not as a lead heroine, but in dance sequences. She had a brief stint in television and later cut short her appearance.
Kalpana debuted in Bollywood with the 1980 flick Manokaamna opposite Raj Kiran. The movie didn’t set the cash registers ringing but Bappi Lahiri’s music was a hit. Kalpana was in the top slot of item girls during the 80s. Born on 1955, it was during the year 1978 that Kalpana Iyer won the Miss India title. In the Miss India pageant she emerged as the First 15 semi-finalists, but later didn’t proceed. Kalpana Iyer followed the footsteps of Helen, Bindu and Aruna Irani, by donning the role of a vampire in many Hindi films. Her eyes are expressive and speak a lot. Anjaam, Raja Hindustani, Satte Pe Satta and Hum Saath Saath Hain are some of the flicks through which she gained recognition.
Her performance in Anjaam, in which she enacted the role of a prison warden, fetched her much critical acclaim. That film had Madhuri Dixit and Shahrukh in the lead.
The 1981 flick Tu Mujhe Jaan is a notable film in Kalpana’s career. The song Tumhara Pyar Chahiye Mujhe Jeene Ke Liye is a great romantic track featuring Kalpana. Hari Om Hari is also one of her famous dance numbers. Pardesi, Pardesi is a song from the flick Raja Hindustani, which gave Kalpana much recognition. Kalpana Iyer had a brief stint in television, pop singing and shows (performing dancing and singing). She played a negative role in Chandrakanta, a television serial and it was appreciated.
Kalpana’s affair with Amjad Khan, yesteryear villain of Bollywood, was in the news. Currently she manages a restaurant in Dubai, UAE.

Born on October 23, Shikha Swaroop hails from a Punjabi-speaking Kayastha family. She is from Delhi. She acquired her degree from the much famous St Stephen's College. She won the Miss India 1988 title. She kept on wearing this crown until 1991 when she lost it to Preeti Mankotia. Beside the Miss India title, she won the All India Pistol Shooting Championship in the year 1988. She has also played badminton at the national level. However, her career in badminton was cut short when she fell sick.
She was the brand ambassador of numerous products. Apart from being the brand ambassador, she was a style icon in excess of 400 shows in India and abroad too. Sonu Nigam is a renowned Bollywood singer and composer. He was born on July 30, 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana. Hailing from a musical background, both his parents are singers. He is the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam. The first performance he gave was at the tender age of 3 when he performed the song Kya Hua Tera Wada by Mohammed Rafi. In Zee TV's famous daily soap Qubool Hai, he got chance to play a multilayered character of Rashid Ahmed Khan. It is a pleasant coincidence that in real life Rashid Ahmed Khan is the name of his uncle. He got married to Shabnam in the year 2000 and has two children Zoya and Ayaan.
Interestingly, Zoya is the name of lead character in Qubool Hai and Ayaan is name of his character's son in the serial. This is why the character of Rashid is very close to him. He can also be seen playing Rudra Pratap Rathore in Sanjay Leela Bansali's popular serial Saraswatichandra.

Rajendra Gupta is a veteran Indian director, theatre, film and television actor. He was hailed from Panipat, Haryana, India and studied at Kurukshetra University. His father runs a textile business but Rajendra is more focused in working on theatre. He met Veena, his wife-to-be in Indore while he’s doing a play in college. But Veena’s parents are not in favor of their marriage so the two leave Bhopal and got married. They now have a daughter named, Ravee Gupta who works as an actress as well. In year 1972, Rajendra attended National School of Drama in New Delhi.
In 1985, Rajendra’s family shifted to Mumbai and he initiated his career in television. During the 80s, he appeared in television serials like Nukkad, Intezaar, Bharat Ek Khoj and Kahan Gaye Woh Log. Few years after moving to Mumbai, he acted in his first film, Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin as Vice-Chancellor Asthana in 1987. He was notably remembered as Pandit Jagannath in the fantasy series, Chandrakanta on DD National and as Jagat Narayan, the father of Sudha (played by Manasi Joshi Roy) in the television soap, Saaya on Sony TV, where he won the RAPA award in year 2000. He also appeared in television serials like Shaktiman, Aashirwad, Raavan, Kuchh Is Tara, Ek Kahani, Hum Ladkiyan, and Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Me. He also acted as Mahaveer Singh in the very popular drama series, Balika Vadhu – Kachchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte on Colors TV in 2009. From 2011 up to the present, Rajendra appeared in the main lead role as Kesari Narayan on SAB TV’s comedy show, Chidiya Ghar. Also in 2011, he played the same role as Pandit Jagannath, a Ramal master in the fantasy series, Kahaani Chandrakanta Ki on Sahara One.
Rajendra also acted in a bunch of prominent films like Jaan Se Pyaara, Tarpan, Bhai, Daava, Benaam, Dil Kya Kare, Laado, and Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya.
