Rupal Patel is most popularly known for her role in the serial ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’. This show is an Indian series that was aired in May, 2010 on Star Plus. The show is primarily about the life story of two sisters. The series is a journey of these two sisters getting married in the same family, Modi family, and the relationship that they share post marriage. Rupal Patel is one of the family members of the Modi family, called Kokila Parag Modi.

Rupal is a Gujarat theatre based actor. She has done her training at the National School of Drama. She has her own theatre group that is engaged in making children’s plays. This theatre group is known as Panorama Art Theatres. She got married to another actor called Radha Krishna Dutt.

She has tried her hand at films too. She has featured as an Art director in the movie, Sambar Salsa. The movie is about a South Indian family who do not approve of the Spanish girl chosen by the don of the family, Surya. This movie released in September, 2007 and was directed by . She has also seen in movie like Mammo. This movie released in 1994. The movie is based on the relationship between a child and the sister of his grandmother, featuring their differences and approach towards life, in a financially unequipped environment.
