in lead roles. Based on Devaki Nandan Khatri’s novel of the same name, the show presents a romantic love story filled with challenges. Chandrakantha is the princess of Vijaygarh and is deeply in love with Raja Virender Singh, the prince of Naugarh, and vice-versa.
But Chandrakantha’s admirers and other characters who do not want this alliance try to put obstacles in their love story. Do they stay together, or fall apart? Do Chandrakanta and Virender Singh have a happy life or are they forbidden from seeing each other? The rest of the show deals with that. The series features a testament to their love and was much loved by the audience.
