Vinod Kapoor is a noted acting professional mainly in Hindi entertainment industry. He has also worked in many regional languages assignments. He was first spotted by BR Chopra in an audition of the greatest Hindi epic drama Mahabharat. He was offered with a role as Dushashan, one of the Kauravas and brother of Duryodhana. He portrayed the character so beautifully that he was regarded as Dushashan for many years and was being seen as negative personality in society.

Later he appeared in a positive role of a patriot in another successful venture of Door Darshan and UTV named Yug. There he also made a remarkable performance and highly appraised. He shared the screen with Shahbaaz Khan, , and other renowned and established faces.

In early 20’s he appeared in Sanjay Khan’s Kahani Hamare Mahabharat ki as Guru Dronacharya and got noticed. He was last seen in an episodic of as one of the Fake Hindu Guru who got caught in sting operation indulged in sexual activities with one of his Shishyaa.

Recently he met an accident along with another TV veteran actor and faced the severe condition while going on a shoot.

He has appeared in many Hindi films and got recognition in Rokkk (2004) and starrer Alibaba Aur 40 Chor.
