Tomay Amay Mile is a Bengali series that started airing on Star Jalsha on 11th March 2013 and went off air on 20th March 2016. Blue Water Pictures bankrolled the series. Ushoshi is a college student who dreams of becoming an IPS officer. Nishith owns a sweetshop and makes savouries and sweets on his own. Nishith is the elder son in the family, and his mother searches for an ideal daughter-in-law who should manage the home perfectly and care for her son. In a turn of events, Ushoshi and Nishith get married. After Ushoshi reveals her ambition to Nishith, he decides to support her and tries to fulfil her dream. But his mother strongly opposes this idea. What will the couple do to convince her?
