Sharda is a school teacher. She is the single parent to Meghna and Naina. After they complete their college, Sharda takes her daughters to her brother Vishnu’s house. Meghna is in love with her college mate Kunal, the son of a wealthy businessman, Nandkishore. Soon, their marriage is fixed, though Nandkishore doesn’t want to have a daughter-in-law from a humble family. Kunal has a brother, Karan, who has some health issues. Vishnu’s wife, Asha, doesn’t have good intentions. She induces Nandkishore on Kunal’s wedding day and makes Naina marry Karan. Meghna wants to teach Nandkishore a lesson for humiliating her family. In a turn of events, it is revealed that Kunal is not Nandkishore’s son and is made to move out of the house with Meghna. The rest of the story showcases how Naina manages to reunite the family.
