Aashika Bhatia is a very talented child artist from the Indian television scene. This teenager, at the age of 16, made a name for herself in the Indian television industry. Her acting journey started at the age of 9, when she gave an audition for the NDTV serial, ‘
’, and was selected for playing the lead character of Meera (the medieval era poetess who falls in love with Lord Krishna).
Her parents, from an early age, saw the potential in her and were always supportive. Because of them, she was able to achieve what she wanted in her life. The role of Meera was not easy, but she played the character with ease and made the viewers feel the real Meera. She further played the role of Ginni in “Parvarrish- Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi”, starring
and Shweta Tiwari.
The serial became very popular in Indian households, and her role was noticed and appreciated by all. She still fondly remembers the time she spent in the set of Parvarrish, as the whole unit was like a big family to her. Like all teenagers, she also loves spending time with her friends, but given her strict schedule, she hardly gets time for it.
Besides acting, she is also keen in finishing her studies as she understands the importance of this. From some time now, she is out of the scene, and we expect her to be seen in a new avatar in her second inning.
