Manali Dey is also known as Manali Dey Bhattacharjee is an Indian Bengali film and Tv actress. She has spent most of her childhood in Kolkata's Picnic Garden. She is the single girl child to Nitai Dey and Manisha Dey. She did her secondary schooling at Oxford House, Kolkata. As simultaneously she had started acting, she wasn't able to cope up with the regular college and hence she was moved to Amrit Academy, Kankurgachi, which is an open board school.
She made her debut with Kali Aamar Maa, a Bengali film in 1999. She had played a child's role in this movie. Then she appeared in “Neer Bhanga Jhar”, a Bengali Tv serial, also this was her first appearance on television. Since after she has appeared in numerous serials and movies and have become one of the most prominent actresses in Bengali film industry.
