Bhoomikanya is a Bengali series that started airing on Star Jalsha on 30th July 2018 and went off air on 20th January 2019. Nothing Beyond Cinema presented the series. It is an adaptation of Tarita Puran by Rupak Saha.
Tarita is a herpetologist. Chandrabhanu, a local gangster, is involved in human trafficking. Maheshwar is the chief advisor to Chandrabhanu. Ankush is a forest ranger who is in love with Tarita. Will Tarita and Ankush trap the gangsters and save people?
Kausik Bhattacharya scripted the screenplay, and Arindam De directed the series. Padmanava Dasgupta penned the dialogue.
