Isai is the daughter of a millionaire, Advocate Eshwara Moorthy. He raises his daughter as a single parent. Vijay is a smart youngster who is self-made. He was abandoned by his mother and later adopted by Muthaiah and Sivagami. Vijay hates her and never wants to see her as his mother left him. Vijay falls in love with Isai and seeks her father’s permission. But, Isai’s father couldn’t go with her daughter’s decision, and hence, Isai comes out of her house and gets married to Vijay. Both of them are leading a happy life, and now, they have a son. Although Isai is satisfied with her family life, she can’t resist meeting her father. When she visits her father to invite him for their housewarming ceremony, he insults her and sends her out. But, he is happy at heart, as his daughter is well settled and has chosen the right person. But, his ego didn’t allow him to say this to her.

Meanwhile, Eshwara Moorthy’s assistant, Vaali uses this situation and makes his son move closer with his boss to wind up all his properties. Poor Eshwara Moorthy trusts them to a great extent. At the same time, Thaayamma got into the story and was introduced to Isai. She is none other than the mother of Vijay, who left him when he was a child. What will happen when Isai comes to know that she is her mother-in-law? Will Vijay accept his mother? The rest of the story carries the answers to these questions.

Shruthi plays the role of Isai, and Krishna is seen as Vijay. Mohan Sharma plays the role of Advocate Eshwara Moorthy, and Sri Latha plays Thayamma’s role.
