Ritika Singh won the Best Actress for her role in the movie. Madonna Sebastian who made her debut with Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum grabbed the Best Debut Heroine Trophy. Nainika walked away with the award for the Best Child Actor for the movie Theri. Visaaranai won the Best Movie Trophy on the awards night. Vetrimaaran has directed this masterpiece, and this movie was also one of those films which made an official entry into Oscars from India. None other than Vetrimaaran won the Best Director Trophy for his hit Visaaranai. Best Debut Director was given to the director of Kidaari. Murugesan grabbed this award. Amit and Subrata shared the award for the Best Art Director for their combined work on the film 24 The Movie. SR Kathri bagged the Best Cinematographer trophy for the film Kidaari. Suseenthiran won the Best Story Award for the story written for the film Maaveeran Kittu. The talented Jeetu Joseph walked away with the Best Screenplay Award.

Venkathesh and Kishore won the Best Editor Trophy for their work of editing in the movie Vissaranai. Julian Trousselliar won the trophy for Best Visual Effects for the work put in the movie called 24 The Movie. Thamarai won the Best Lyricist Trophy. Nalla Srinu won the Best Makeup Award for his makeup skills in the movie Kaashmora. T

he Best Comedy Actress Trophy was given to none other than Vinodini, and Yogi Babu was given the Best Comedy ActorTrophy. Arvind Swamy won the Best Villian for his outstanding work in a negative role. Viji Chandrasekhar won the Best Female Villain for her work in a negative role in the film Vetrivel. Anand Annamalai got the award for the Best Dialogue Writer. Samuthirakarni got the Trophy for the Best Character Artist for his role in the movie Visaranai. Miracle Michael won the Best Stunt Director award. Best Production Award was given to Chris Pictures.  Samuthirakani won the trophy for Best Supporting Actor for the film Visaaranai.
