It is produced by Ekta Kapoor Ekta Kapoor; a legendry producer in Indian TV and >> Read More... and Sobha Kapoor. Originally the show aired on Colors TV. It was a supernatural family drama with ghosts, witches, and snakes in it.

At the starting of the show, Vikrant and Ruhi Ichadhari Naag and Nagin meet after several years and stat dancing where Yuvraj with his friends comes to hunt them and want to rape Ruhi. One of his friends shoots Vikrant while  Vikrant played by Rajat Tokas Rajat Tokas is a prominent Indian television actor >> Read More... tries to save Ruhi. He dies, and Ruhi catches killers in Vikrant's, eyes. At the same time, Mahir played by Parl V Puri, the protagonist comes and takes the gun and Ruhi thinks that Mahir killed his lover.

After six months Ruhi, played by Karishma Tanna to take revenge, comes to his home with a different name and different face. She introduces herself as Bela played by Surabhi Jyoti who wants to get married to Mahir so that she can live in their home and kill everyone. Another Naagin named Vish Khanna played by Anita Hassanandani comes to their home as a business tycoon. In the first week of her arrival, she kills 4 men with the help of Bela who were there to kill Vikrant. It is revealed that Bela is the queen of her kingdom and Vish is one of her servants.

They both make several plans to kill Mahir, but slowly Bela starts to fall in love with him. Aditya, a friend of Mahir's has known their true identity so Bela and Vish decide to kill him. They kill him. Vikrant is returned and revealed that he had faked his death to gain Nagmani. He gets married to Vish and they both plan to get Naagmani from her. Later it is revealed that Bella has a sister who is still alive, shapeshifters and vaulters kidnapped her. They ask for Naagmani in return of her sister. At the attempt, Bela kills Vyom and takes Naagmani. She saves Vikrant and Vish they reunite. While Mahir's mother Sumitra is killed by another Nagin who takes her place as Sumitra, she is the antagonist and wants to kill Bela. She is Vikrant's mother. Mahir finds out that Bela is a Naagin and is sad. At an event, Sumitra bites Mahir and he loses his memory. He doesn't remember Bela and her relationship with him. At the new year's party, Bela Vikrant and Visakha get killed by Sumitra and Yuvraj they push them down the hill.

Later, it is revealed that they are alive and come back to take revenge. Now it is interesting to see if Bela gets back with Mahir and finds Nagmani.
