Creative genius Mukta Dhond has been called an encyclopaedia for ‘romance’, created and developed numerous TV shows based around love and romance, mystery, drama. She is a single mom to a three-year-old boy. She is a crazy lover of her pet dog, Bobby. She is a die-hard romantic. She allows only a trustful of people to rule her personal space. She loves to create shows, which are nothing but an extension of herself.

In an interview she shares her driving force to work on love stories and shares her journey in the television industry. From the past 20 years the Mumbai born creative director now producer has been putting her efforts recklessly to move from being an executive producer to a co-producer.

Her shows always do wonders on television screens and make a special place in the audience's heart. Since she started, she never had a record of creating an unsuccessful show whether financially or critically. She always knows what my audience wants on their television screen, knows well how to make perfect craft out of it. Mukta’s journey is fascinating but more than that it is inspiring just like her personality. From being a novice to an expert nerd, she has become a role model to many.

She graduated in Economics and Statistics. After completing her graduation she kick started her journey for a creative geek. She says she always had a very focused goal. She has also contributed her work in Indonesia for several years. She likes to read. She loves to explore the nature of creativity. She exclaims that the twisting experience in her life made her life strong and simple.

She remembers during an interview "It was during one of the narrations with Ekta Kapoor; I made some references straight out of wizard-based stories, and then Ekta popped the million-dollar question,

'Why don't you head Naagin?' I was amazed, amused, bewildered and didn't know what to do. But, I did it," she says. "You evolve. You grow, and you learn many lessons on your way. The biggest lesson that I learned from Ekta is to follow your instincts, and trust me, it has worked for me," concludes Mukta. She always says in every interview that her faith in love and romance is never-ending.
